FragileA Poem by jane7zOne of my first poems somewhere between 2001 and 2005Moonspun gossamer glass Light refracting retracting filling the room One brush of a hand Breaks in infinite pieces
Tender giving caring Filling lives with warmth and joy A casual careless turn of a word Rends the heart in two
Sweet mesmerizing music Enters the ears and exits from the soul Strike that sour note a cacophonous noise and spoil the magic song
Keep safe from harm life's fragile things A newborn babe, dignity of the old Love between a man and woman let them flourish and abound their hearts blossom bring joy that astounds. © 2013 jane7z |
