MazeA Poem by jane7z2007 For Christopher Robinwandering around in the labriynth that i created lost in the twists and turns i didn't see it coming the maze is expanding i don't think i can find my way out of here alone I unbuttoned my head and left my brain back on the third aisle on the right On a haystack next to the great pumpkin my heart was checked at the door It was the start of a grand adventure a new amazing puzzle world to explore haystacks and pumpkins goblins and ghouls In my mind you were just around the next bend but I lost you too I think I last caught a glimpse of you on heartbreak alley ever elusive There was no ribbon left by the wayside no clue your only fault is that you thought I was smart like you but i had blinders on of my own making now i can't find you. am beside myself in echo canyon wandering aimlessly without you. © 2013 jane7z |
