Darling ChangelingsA Poem by jane7z2007
Out of place beings
Don't fit in no box can contain them Metamorphasis before your eyes. Catepillar throws off its murky plain jane wrapper Spreads soft feather light wings Gently lifts offs A velvet colorful creature flits away freely never see one on a leash Becoming what is was purposed to be. Breaking out Stripping off , loosing, letting go, shaking off - to be Full force run at the brick wall and breaking through As if no resistance existed Slapping away the grasping hands that would hold you back -down Shutting out the critics. Leaving them in the dust Echos fading behind Incredible might required to tear away paper chains Links that have imprisoned you for so long Kicking shouting no more let me be I want to live who I am I want to question everything experience life myself taking your shadow into the light exposing the darkness in us all To be free Lack of fear for what is ahead Embrace change Welcome it into your soul As waves of pain come deal it a blow Then lay back in the intense sweetness that follows Gentle wind of acceptance Bringing peace © 2013 jane7z |
