I believe in honor among friends 
I believe in kindness to strangers 
I believe in children and their basic honesty 
I believe in a Creator who made me unique. 
I believe in the power of music to tame the wild heart 
I believe that lust between and man and woman can cause a war. 
I believe in love of a mother for her child even unto death 
I believe in basic goodness, rightness and justice. 
I believe in laughter as a salve to the soul 
I believe in loyalty to your country and freedom for all people. 
I believe in the beauty of nature so wild and untameable it causes one to catch their breath 
I believe death is not an ending but only a beginning 
I do not believe in romantic  love 
it has seared my heart too many times 
the aftermath of its destructive force has left my heart in shambles 
I can love you as my friend 
I can hold you once in a while 
I will be there to laugh with you and help you crack a smile 
but i will not hand you my heart
