My soul sings with
the rhythm of life
the beat of my heart is it's drum
spirit dancing as the sun comes
up
illuminating lifes noises around
cacophony of traffic
horns honkeening
children gleefully free swingingt

elderly fingers entwining
the whisper of their adoration

sloooooows as
a soul leaves the dance
none of the living can follow
speeds up when a tiny being
bursts into the world

rhythm of life continues
there isn't a knowing
if it will stop
when it began
its heard in nature
where the wild things
rejoice
the crickets harmony announcing
days end

but it's a shadow of itself
until the advent of dawn
it can be as quiet as
a spring yellow fuzzy chic

as loud as a sonic
boooooooooooom

it ties all things together
as our lives go on
it's as powerful as love
and frightening as storem
with the advent of the dawn
it's racuous hectic beat begins
fresh as the dawn overtakes dark
it's the cricking of crickets
might roar of the beasts
it's as small as a baby chick

it's a loud as a sonic boom
as powerful as
love
it reaches into the soul
those numb to the world
part of all we are
