I don’t have to roar I am she her, female mother daughter sister grandmother woman child girl from my womb springs life my arms cradle you nurtures you my spirit brings light to a darkened world I am W O M A N my skin painted with the colors of the earth rich deep mahogany luminescent ivory redbrown as the colorado earth golden yellow mixed up human palette beautifully different and the same I am W O M A N I desire true freedom respect for who I am my heart beats strongly their is grace in my beauty tenacious caring for all peoples no need for a pedestal or debasement I am W O M A N I am W O M A N not taken from the head or feet of M A N meant to walk with my companion lifemate side by side not here to whine or complain overtake or be victimized just want my share of EQUALITY © 2013 jane7z |
