Wait One More Day Please
The job that you give half your life blood and soul to and wonder why is there some cosmic reason to plug away your day as a janitor, waitress, tax collector, computer geek whatever you do. does the sucking out and using up of your lifeblood to pay the bills mean anything to eternity or even tomorrow really. Who dreamed up work? The kids are yelling your significant other is unhappy again you forgot you forgot you forgot. there is no time to take a breath to stop the minute you hit the door all hell breaks loose demands and pleas and little fires to extinuish everywhere. miniature volcanoes of your precious family's life to be on the lookout for. year after year you go along living the life trying to be strong perfect hair, perfect house perfect hostess, perfect little mouse don't do the wrong thing don't talk to loud don't voice your opinion don't go against the crowd Finally comes the breaking point there is no measuring up there is no fairy tale rainbow you love them but see no end to the madness you have had enough of trying to be perfect be good be nice be sweet you want out someone to pamper you to make you feel adored someone who gazes at you someone who isn't bored with your feelings and thoughts all those desires you can't quite push down and under they seep out. what are all those longings for is life just a routine an order do we live day after day doing the same thing over and over marching as if lemmings to the sea only to die. No, Hold on Hang in there one more day please Let love break you out of it. bust out get a new lease on life not on a car © 2013 jane7z |
