The Summer Rose heady in her beauty
blushes in the affection of the sunlight pouring out her fresh fragrance to the morning dew Lush velvet petal skin she brightens up all who meet her who take time to revel in her natural unhindered presence Even as she is slowly opening fully to take in the world around she is beginning to perish Slowly her petals fall to the green carpet below nourishing the very earth she sprang out of as she fades she is taken off to allow other roses to have their time in the spotlight © 2013 jane7z |
