so ordinary

sitting day after day
time ticking away
rather slowly
boredom
blues creep in
as a cat burglar silently
trying to rob my most prized possession
lifejoy

this body fragile yet strong
healing on its own timeline
not mine
no work children to
keep my focus off me
yet

hope and a realization
that there is beauty
in the ordinary
strong cup of tea and scone days
crosswordjigsaw hours
lights reflecting from christmas trees
snuggling up in my blanky lol (hey it rhymes)
carols and hot chocolate rudolph and
st nick

fluffy fleecy sweaters
frost nose
wool coats
good books doors to adventure
so normal
boring
uneventful
but its okay
i will take these days
they are lovely to me
