Chapter Two

          While walking home, her Crazy Frog ring tone went off, she took her phone out of her backpack's side pocket and flipped it open.
          "Come to my house tnight... at like 4," the text from Tamara read.
          "Kk," she responded.
          After Brenna got home, Shelby started walking in the direction of her neighborhood. Not too long after she turned around, the same thing happened, but her "I'm a pothole" ring tone went off. "Otaii," she responded. The exact same thing happened to all of us; we got a text from Tamara and agreed.

Once I got home, I threw my backpack on the ground, got a snack from the kitchen, then headed upstairs to my kind of messy room. I logged onto my labtop and got on Clicksterz, which I usually do after school. Nothing new.

I closed my labtop and flopped on to my bed, thinking about what Eric said to me. He invited me to go to the river with him! Eric! I sighed with a stupid smile on my face. I can't wait for tommorow. I kept looking at the clock, waiting for the clock to strike 3:50 so I could leave! (It takes a little time to get to Tamara's, of course.) Minute after minute went by when I thought to myself "Ah Hell, I'll just go."
