An ode to toothpasteA Poem by Janani Sree GaneshToothpastes make me fresh!In vain to lift my heavy eyelids As the early mornin’ sun shines Breaks my peaceful sleep Groggily make my way to bath How poisonous my mouth tastes Ugh. Yuck. Like a pulped snake With a sour mushroom garnished Yet, an uncontrollable urge to talk! Nah. I don’t wanna poison my house Mouth pursed ‘n sealed avoids rouse Bumped my head, groaned an “Argh” Damn! My mouth would blight the Earth Came the rescue " toothpaste ‘n brush The epitome of my survival Sweet mint ‘n freshness along synthetic firm
