Beauty of DeathA Poem by Jamil IsimbabiDeath is beautiful. If it isn't what is? As it breezes through the world leaving men wiggling like leaves. One destiny for man, animal and trees As it creeps through the crevices squeezing anything that lives. Unexpected like a door knock when it knocks on our door. God knows, it's no luck comes for the rich and the poor the saint and the w***e could take a score or more How can we not adore? This lifetime-old unsolved riddle A thing that makes all fingers equal In sequence like a sequel No surviving no survival Indeed life is a travel Life is brittle Death is beautiful.
