Blind Mind

Blind Mind

A Poem by Jamil Isimbabi

How lonely is the mind?
Are thoughts only in the mind?
Are we pall bearing
burying questions in the mind?
because the answers are hard to find.

See, we are all blind
but we still throw darts.
At a bulls eye
an eye for an eye.
In this cruel world
It's a lie for lie.
Sometimes the truth may lie
between a thousand lies.
Indeed my first poem
May the function follow the form.

The mind indeed has many inumerating functions and gives certain value before and after witnessing progression as time moves along. The mind fills its self with unanswered questions and seperates them to its prevalance and entirity. Based on what you know and what is presented, it makes logical decisions.

True. the mind is the most complex of senses

I like this poem. It humors me to see a poem of the mind from the very thing it speaks of. We are beings of unquestionable answers, we fall prey to perception... the lies of the mind. This poem gives insight to the fact that we aren't fully aware. Beautiful.

I like your first poem...it's very evocative and honest, even sympathetic to the ills of the world. I like to see that trait in any poet so you are and you need to keep on writing because you already have your own unique print and a natural base. Very very nice.

The truth is inside,
It does not have to hide,
Truth can be blind
only to those who
won't set their burdens down.
Form N function.
What we live for
A form
A function
"it is not the work it is what you bring to it"

You did very well with your first poem. You open the door to question and thoughts. I recommend read the poem aloud. Help with the flow. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
