Stuck Here

Just something I wrote last year. October 26, 2012

Keeping myself closed tight seems to be the only way

The one time I open up too much to someone it just crashes and burns

So I'm stuck here crying 

while you could really care less

But i've seen this too many times

So why the hell am I crying?

Its getting harder and harder to hide the pain within

The friends I once had, have drifted away 

Into their own little love bubble

And I am a lost thought in their minds.

So I'm stuck here crying

I have no choice but to keep moving forward

Tasting whiskey on my lips as if its a last kiss.

Amazing. Almost seems like something you could set to music. Beautiful. I especially love this part "So why the hell am I crying?" because it was where the poem really hit me. Love this!
