Granddaddy <3

He was my granddaddy, he was my bestfriend.

Granddaddy, where have you gone?

I miss you so much

I can't see your smile

I can't hear your laugh

I miss the times when you would hold my hand

The times when you walked with me on the sand

The times when you joked around

The times when you were right there

You served as my inspiration

You were always there to help me through 

You were there to hold me tight

I'm glad I had someone like you

Granddaddy, my daddy

How I miss you so

I'll see and be with you someday

In a place that we can call our true home
