The EndA Poem by JamieTo jump off the cliff, Allowing the liquid glass to pierce the skin and break the bones Is such an easy way to take it all away, To end the life slowly slipping into the blackness.
Ending the physical abuse That leaves bruises so deep the soul is slowly cracking. Erasing the depression That becomes a black hole, swallowing the body leaving no escape.
Leaving behind a cold, empty life--- A life full of lonliness And bone-chilling hate. A Life full of hardships that aren't worth enduring, knowing there is a better place.
As she walks to to the cliff, the tears well up on her face. She stares over the edge into the rough water, Bracing herself for the jump.
But then she pushes away the tears and forces a smile, Thinking, "There are people to help people like me." With that, she turns around and walks into the sunrise.
