Lets have a Masquerade

Lets have a Masquerade

A Poem by Somebody you've already forgoten

Lets have a Masquerade

Lets put on beautiful dresses

And wonderful masks

Lets have a Masquerade

Lets put on our discuises

And have a party

Lets have a Masquerade

Lets put on a facade

And hide in plain site

Lets have a Masquerade

Lets pretend with all these people

And share a secret time

Lets have a Masquerade

Lets never stop

And never take these masks off

Lets have a Masquerade

Lets have some fun before we have to go back to being ourselves

And make it last as long as we can

Lets have a Masquerade

Lets put on secrets and discuises and facades in the form of masks

And have a blast for as long as we can

Lets have a Masquerade

I absolutely love this poem. It's the fact that I've heard this 'disguise' scenario before, but you have made it unique and brilliant. I could read this again and again, although it's a poem. This has to be be one of my favorites :)
