innocense

innocense

A Poem by Somebody you've already forgoten

i'm only thirteen

you cant expect me to get it all

yes, just keep treeting me as a child

I have no idea

no clue about the world around me

let's keep it that way shall we

preserve my innocense

let me still believe in farytales

and happy endings'

let's not tell me about the horror's in the world around me

let crayons be my hero's

and boys with cooties be the villans

lets not talk about it at all

lets preserve my innocense in a glass box

let's keep it to ourselves

Author's Note

Somebody you've already forgoten
if u cant tell i am being sarcastic. i know it all and nothing is hidden anymore. not from me not from you not from anyone. lets face the truth innocense is long gone in the world today.
