thanking a friend

to a really great friend. Thank u John.

I would like to thank a friend.

One who said it would be better in the end.

One who consold me in a darker hour.

He gave me strength and power.

All that sorrow.

He told me he felt it too.

Somehow I know it's true.

He said nice things even though he didn't have too.

And so I would like to say thank you.

He's a great person and an even better friend.

I would like to thank a friend.

I'm chuckling at the author's note..[= I know you were being serious..just kind of a laugh of relief, I guess.
"If u are mean to him I will find you.." and the same goes for anyone who's mean to jamie. and I liked how you were polite right after you said that. It's quirky. [= Just a weird compliment I thought of just now..

this flows really well, Jamie.. it was framed really nicely..not just at the edges, but the whole thing..you have a knack for how the rhythm and the syllables are supposed to go together..cause it's not just the words themselves, but how they interact..you're on point, soul sister.
