Lost ForeverA Poem by Jamie
Unable to see and unable to hear,
the end of this age is drawing near. With memories lost and tears shed, the toll of the world has been said. But on it will go without all the weak, although clearly the new world they found is not the one to seek. All the protestants will be buried, for they are called burdens that have long since been carried. They say it will be like a hunter cutting off a dead bird's tounge, and a tree's final song that has already been sung. They say it will not matter, nobody will grieve, but it is only the government that they believe. I, too, will be erased from the Earth. I do not believe, to me, it is like removing unburned wood from a fiery hearth. Although everything is now a mistake, 'no' is and answer they will refuse to take. So now I lay in a coffin, I will be buried alive, for they want me to suffer and die coughing. But as I hear dirt pile up on my eternal bed, the thoughts are the same, as they lie in my head. I was never wrong, it was them, who ruined the world and rang the gong. They said it was for the greater good, but through the lies, they were only hiding in a hood. So now I die, I disappear, but remember this through the years. I am now cold as rock, hard as stone, Lost forever, and Alone. © 2010 JamieAuthor's Note
