My wonderful Dog

My wonderful Dog

A Poem by Jimmy Miiler
"

A tribute to my childhood dog, kinda.

"

Remember how his tail wagged?

And all the different dogs he shagged?

Remember how my mother nagged?

This wonderful dog of mine.

Remember how he’d bark at birds?

And produce the foulest smelling turds?

The shouting and the playful words?

To this wonderful dog of mine.

How I would ask him for his paw?

And he would just s**t on the floor?

A misbehaving Labrador,

This wonderful dog of mine.

Remember how I’d throw a stick?

But he’d just sit and lick his dick?

At times even eat his own sick?

This wonderful dog of mine.

The time’s he laid flat on his back?

The time he bit my dads ball sack?

Or chased the foxes out the back?

This wonderful dog of mine.

I miss the walks, the games, the fun,

The way he once chased down a nun,

Just so he could smell her bum,

This wonderful dog of mine.

Not well behaved, not that well trained,

And yes he could drive me insane,

But I truly loved him all the same,

This WONDERFUL dog of mine.

Oh my God this is awesome! I laughed pretty good even into the first stanza! He sounds like an amazing dog that simply cannot be replaced, and I must say, having a dog like that would be absolute heaven. Who needs well behaved dogs anyway?
