The siren asked if I knew the way

I do

She led me down into the cave

I followed

I watched the burning ships go past the cove

I knew

The ocean claimed them all for her

Its true

The night bore down it’s heavy rain

On me

I know now the weight of chains

At sea

The crew was lost, forevermore

In darkness

The King of the blackened void
