FIFA 16: I don't know if I should be proud or sad

Today after work I came home. After pouring a beer and logging onto FUT I found a match (I'm on PC it's harder then it sounds). After 2 years of playing offline this year I decided to start playing online. I quickly found Out I am not quite up to speed. My first two games today were okay. First one I got fisted by a RB Zlatan and Lacazette.

My second I was able to pull off a win (3-2) against a high pressuring pacey La Liga team. But my third the point of this post. My oppositions team was good. Not quite Zlatan good but better then my team. Within my first few minutes I noticed the other guy was rather good. Appropriate skill moves great passes and a mean possession game. I was so excited. It seems I mostly play against folk who have outstanding teams and out pace me with high pressure.

But after conceding an foolish penalty which I deserved I focused on my passing game until I found a mean option which allowed me to easily tie the match. After listening to a rather large amount of unsettling bitching an moaning from the now talkative opponent he quit the match. Yes...because I tied. In the 34th minute. Now I am left with a question on my mind. To be upset that the rage quit didn't count as a win. But instead a 0-3 loss (my point disappeared apparently) and a DNF (which I have no idea wtf that is and how many fifa 16 coins I will suffer). Or proud I have progressed so much as to make an opponent rage quit...

Apparently there is a way on PC to disconnect and make it count as a loss for your opponent. Normally if an opponent disconnects during a draw, the game won't count for you. The one who disconnects always gets a loss however. If you're winning, then you'll be awarded the win. I think it's how they disconnect, if they quit through the menu it's fine, if they alt-f4, the game kicks you out from FUT as well. It's stupid and should be fixed, but it doesn't seem to happen too much, to me at least.

The sad thing is I was actually excited to play someone skillful. Don't care if I lose honestly. I know it's going to happen a lot online. Full time job and side things mean my team isn't going to be worth millions of fut16 coins and I don't get a lot of practice. But the times I've played someone highly skilled I am able to learn. Just to bad the PC has these issues I guess.
