Lambent

Lambent

A Poem by Joshua Daniel

That radiant smile

putting shame to the Sun.

warms the hearts of many

a feeling never undone.

A melody dances inside his soul.

A mellow chorus,

of soft echoed flow.

A pleasing symphony for all who do hear.

An angelic tune,

so soft and so clear.

Grand are his gestures,

genuine his words.

Your mind: he pesters,

but you're as free as the birds.

Without him darkness

and with him too.

Finer in gloom seen

Of light; in lieu.

Steadfast, held

just him and just you.
