SchadenfreudeA Poem by Joshua DanielDoubt
invades the patchwork
of my spotted mind travels a
million highways none of which
you can find.
Pain ensues as the sun
on skin a familiar titillation for it has
always been.
Calamity
stirs in the
depths of bone my pulses
fading beat a lulling
drone.
Ardor dies like a
frost-bitten Rose for here in
our garden fondness never
grows. © 2014 Joshua Daniel |
