Motherhood

Motherhood

A Poem by Patrick J Sorrentino
"

To that special Mother for whom I wrote this.

"

Consumed she lays with comfort mind,

Upon new life, she looks with pride.

Wondrous soul in peaceful dream,

Till now was one but now assort.

Like birds above the nested child,

She guides with love and sleepless nights.

The fragile life that lies endowed,

By spyful eyes and tender rhymes.

I love the study of the human condition and its incongruences. The philosophy and psychology of the cognitive process. My writings are sometimes confronting, reflective and satirical. more..
