A World Of Lies

Built by people, destroyed by the truth.

Be kind to others they said.

Be polite to people they said.

Complement people they said.

But that's not what they really meant.

What they really meant was lie to people.

Don't tell people what you really think.

But now I live in a world where they tell me be free.

Be honest.

You have the freedom of speech to say what you want.

And now for speaking the truth,

I am ridiculed.

Called various names.

And I get into trouble.

All for telling the truth about what I think.

So is it better to lie and keep everything nice and calm,

Or is it better to have the people speak their mind and tell the truth creating anarchy.

So what world do you want to live in?

A world built on lies and structure.

Or in a world of anarchy and freedom from truth.

Choose.

Because you might not be able to later.
