No learning curve!

No learning curve!

A Poem by The Midnight Writer
"

My rants of the uselessness of public education.

"

No Learning Curve!

What we learn in school will never help us in real life.

We will never learn how to get a job.

We will never have to learn how to deal with a breakup.

We will never learn how to handle our emotions.

We will never learn how to farm our own food.

School was made to help the one percent of people that will need a certain skill to get a job.

We need more!

More of learning how to deal with our emotions.

More of learning how to go through breakups.

More of learning how to get a job.

More of the real things in life.

I agree with you to an extent. You are correct in that the old ways of life, such as farming, are not taught anymore. It is sad how so many people don't know how to do things these days, myself included. If you told me to go farm, I would have no idea how to. Great poem.

I agree. I believe kids need basic skills. How to find a job, fill out a application and learn a trade. Old days. Reading, writing and math skills. Needed items to understand. Powerful words that are true. Thank you for sharing the excellent words and poetry.
