Eyes of a True Friend

I dedicate this poem to someone who was once very special to me.Until now she is,but a lot of things have changed.

I once had a friend

Who was amazing in my sight

She calls me her teddy bear

Whenever I hug her tight

 

Oh how I love her so

I wish we could go back

To times when we were happy

Not times when we were sad 

 

Yes,without saying a word

My friend would already know

That I had a dark and shallow world

And how I needed her so

 

Only we can truly see

What matters with her and me

In the eyes of a true friend

Friendships never end
