a page from the slam

this was something i scribbled hastily on my friend's slam!

Heeeyy Shaaam..Well that is how I call you.. and  I remember how you corrected me for spelling your name wrong.. but that is of  no use..I still spell it that way.. I am unsure of  how to begin this scrap dumboo.. Most of our conversations were never words..rather actions LIKE: “ one big smile when we tease others in our gang… when we shake hands for being ‘bachelors’(i am a bachelorette of course) when everybody else in the gang had partners ;) [ps: but of course you do have a partner outside the gang..] exchanging glances at each other at hotels, when our stomachs start growling( when we kept waiting for the food to arrive..) then… a tug at the corner of your shirt to pull you back from the oncoming traffic while we walked like fools giggling on the road..scanning all the chicks saying ‘she is hot..she is cute’ (ie)“mall-wide hunt” for your gal..at times your tastes were good..but to be frank your choices were worse as well!!

But I am wondering about our first conversation..I can never forget the ENTER incident.. I was completely blank on the day of the lab exam..You had been my savior by passing me the code..But the worse part is I hardly knew what input had to be given, in spite of having the code..You had asked me to "enter" the values in the screen, but I ended up pressing "ENTER" constantly and kept wondering why the output didn't turn up..I cant be blamed either..You prompted ***ENTER ENTER***, trying to give me a cue..But it was a complete disaster.. I have spent hours together laughing about it ..how dumb have I  been..I was scared that you would make fun of me and so I never even turned up to your bay for the following lab hours..but I soon realized you were friendly but even today you ARE A NIGHTMARE to many in the class..Do you remember the day we were loitering in the bazaar because you promised to get me a chocolate and ended up missing our wallets..P.S You still haven’t got me one…

It took us a while to understand our humor and ways but we did..you have been a wonderful friend of mine..I am glad that you and I became friends..but I am overwhelmed that I have a friend that I could tell ANYTHING and not be judged about it..

My dream came true when you got placed in a reputed firm…But of course you wore a shirt different from the one that occurred in my dream..That shouldn't matter anyways..Your long wait paid off finally !!wow..You owe me a treat..

Not to forget the “violin” that you play ;) ..the way you feeeeeeeeeeeeeel..how many ‘e’ s shall I add to the phrase.. You often keep saying you don’t have anybody..everybody ignores you..blah blah blah.. But remember you have all of us..ONE AWESOME FRIEND GANG.. we will be there for you always!!

One of the happiest moments of my life was my 20^th bday..fun filled and memorable..the way you opened your mouth saying aaaa to gobble the first piece of my birthday cake omg..I never knew you were capable enough to finish off almost the entire cake.. Hope you join me on all my birthdays where ever you are..

Thanks a lot for being my bestie..i wish you A VERYYY HAPPPPYYY BIRTHDAYYYY SHAAAM.. Let me remind you that you are going to be a year older ;) may you find your gal this year and on this special day I pray that your every wish will come true..enjoy and have a great time….
