morning fog

morning fog

A Poem by jaime

Waking,
Mind full of bare legs
Twist-tied and still
Soldered to last night’s heat.
Sleep unfolds from his shoulder
(a dog-eared dream
saved for pondering
over coffee.)

Stretching,
I want to keep lying
Here in these sheets
Buzz-stitched and bound
To remnants of zig-zagged passion
And crisscrossed love.

Wondering why-
I’m up showering
then tsk-ing in the mirror
To the steamed-up face
Fogged with the questions
He left lingering…

ah....one night of passion carries on for weeks on end. One night of passion is all it takes, moments tht tip toe across the spaces of your mind, and a smirk on ur face, lets you remember it now.

oh Jaime i dont know how i missed this..
Waking ,mind full of bare legs, twist tied and still
soldered to heat of last night
stretching ,want to keep lying, keep living those memories
remnants of passion,crisscrossed love
steamed up face,fogged with questions
left lingering..

Ok, I really liked the way that it began. It was beautiful in its simplicity. Hpwever, I felt that it ended rather abruptly. Just my opinion though. Still a good write.
