Imperium

Imperium

A Poem by jaime
"

There is nothing more difficult to carry out, nor more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to handle, than to initiate a new order of things. MACHIAVELLI

"

The ancient human impulse
To remain unfettered.
As the global fabric is woven
By the power of benders.

The death of the Titans
The birth of bureaucrats.
The climb is gallant
Precipitous is the fall.

Epic and amorphous,
Is the rising of the rest.
Their power is fluid,
Tactical and totemic.

From ages past on,
An elite alliance
Fused and harnessed
Catalyzed with hopes
For a new order

Rich and diverse control
Commanded from our nature.
