until

until

A Poem by jaide
"

this is a poem about questioning and taking the little things for granted until you can't have them anymore

"

I never relized how much those drives meant to me.

Until i couldnt have them.

I never relized why you always wanted me to sit in the back

Until i did.

I always wondered why you held my hand so tight with a guilty look on your face

Until you didnt.

I always wondered why your hand ended up placed somewhere on my thigh

Until you wouldn't.

I never realized how much i meant to you..

Until i didn't mean anything.

We always learn too late. We held a diamond and we didn't know.

Good writing, but you have mis-spellings.

We cling to such small intimate moments of love that in the end define who we are. All these small little graces create the heart we love with. Yet, they are so fleeting and few. The well of love is endless but we ourselves are not. It empties slowly as we give to others, and unless returned in kind is gone. I enjoyed this poem of yours Jaide. Thank you for sharing your work with us.
