telling time to the clock.

telling time to the clock.

A Poem by jaiarius

In this pursuit
of uncertainty;
life has gave
me ways.

Ways of trials
and tribulations.
To challenge life
for better days.

Doubtful about
what’s right,
and worried about
what weighs..

..the future that
we belong. Humbled
by knowing that
failure is okay.

Cautions signs mean
warning. To go
another way.

Try directing one who
does not know all
but one way.

Feeling like getting
tied by a rope
when the purpose
is to get away.

Supporting something
useless. Always
causing delay.

In ensuing this,
In doing this.
One might say,
“you’ve ruined
this.

You’ve ruined
this.” By using
sense all
but obtained.

But removing this,
cluelessness. You’re
all ashamed and you’re
losing it..losing it.
The fall must stain.

It’s luminous, ludicrous.
It’s all insane, to have
proven this by concluding
s**t. The fall has came.

I’m just assuming it.
I guess I’ve
proven it. We all feel
pain.

Finally, pursuing it,
becomes curing it.
Do we all feel sane?
Just been luring it
and enduring it.

Just to stay in
the chain. With
assurance that
there’s certainance

The crawl had bane
a purpose to the worthless.
Something we all have claimed.
Finally, I’ve unearthed that
It’s worth it, to ball in the game.

Author's Note

jaiarius
I’m a African American, 19 year old kid from Thibodaux, Louisiana. I’ve been treated surreally but the worst has yet to come. The physical appearance of me will always cause me to be judged as a bad person. Life isn’t tied with a bow. I believe it’s still a gift, though. Don’t see people without seeing their intentions. Just be telling God, “Forgive them, for they not know what they do.” And that’s some real shit.
