Time is passing far too quickly; I can't believe we arrived a week ago! With these days that are left I want to take all the culture in that I possibly can. I long to continue in this joyful spirit God has given me here, and bring it home to my church, friends, and family. I feel like this place has made such an impact on my life, and by the grace of God I've fit in very well here, and love the people, as they love me. In these six days I've visited the mall in Lima, had Peruvian coffee and food, picked up on the language, played soccer with the Peruvian guys, and I've been able to teach a class of fantastic students.

 

I don't say it nearly enough, but it's an honor for me to be led by Dr. Huguley, Benny, Carol, Derrick and Sondrea, who've been doing this for years now. My heart goes out to Eva, Elise, Ruth, Santiago, Keesa, and all the people here who have made us feel so welcome.

 

I keep in mind this is only the midpoint, and who's to say what God has in store for us?
