End Scene

End Scene

A Poem by Honestly, Abe

Breaking is the eve

       falling short;

         in fading charm,

                  paling grace;

                        now nothing.

The most luminous stars emerge, surfacing first

through Soul’s dimming curtain supporting actors

furnishing the stage

set now to proper scene and action!

Silvery crescent moon,

luster!

So bitter a beauty, the dawning of night;

Shadowing mountains in a royalty

            deeper than held by kings.
