They all said it'll be all right;
That the pain will fade away.
But while time lays heavy on my heart,
Belief of that just sways.

 

You said you'd never leave me,
Yet from this earth, you left.
Now you can't help to heal my heartbreaks
Or pull me from bereft.

 

My friends, they think I'm crazy
To cry about it still.
But I honestly could not care less.
The memories of us give me chills.

 

I know you won't forget me,
And I won't forget about you.
So until the day we meet again,
My friend, I bid you adieu.
