Pinky Swear

Pinky Swear

A Poem by Jade Mayhew
"

For my best friend, Mrs. Joanne Gagne. ♥♥♥

"

Cross my heart and hope to die,
A pinky swear for her and I.
Best friends til the very end;
We'll never be alone again.
We've come so far from where we were:
Sworn enemies, both me and her.
Yet here we stand, older each day.
A bond this strong won't quickly fray.
So hold your head up, friend of mine;
Be brave in life, you'll be just fine.
And if you falter, never fear,
Turn to your side, I'll be right here.
