My heart survives on memories
You helped me to create.
I know how you've been feeling;
It raises no debate. 

My hope survives on fairy tales,
Where wishes all come true,
Where everybody gets along
And I can be with you. 

My dreams survive on angel wings
And soar across the sky
To meet the stars above the clouds
And watch my life go by.

 My goals survive on confidence
To pick my choices right.
The confidence to live my life
And live it, not in fright.

 My love survives within your heart
Because you trusted me.
My life won't last forever
But I'll hold fast to memories.

This is wonderful. Simply put, yet gut wrenching.
