The Beginning

A poem about a group of friends preparing to make the next move into another way of life where they can each continue to grow stronger and wiser in order to come closer towards their goals in life.

Here we first met, this was our beginning

 

We are forever inseparable

 

Because we are friends, and always hoping

 

For the future that looks impossible

 

 

Yet we leave without fear, but with courage

 

To keep moving forward during hard times

 

Ensuring we remain above average

 

And helping the world to shorten its crimes

 

 

Always protecting the people we love

 

So that we won’t suffer, and keep our dreams

 

Of our new life’s expectations to soar

 

Through the obstacles of earthly extremes

 

 

As friends we know this is not the ending

 

But marks our new adventures beginning
