Luna Ticks and Clock Faced StaresA Poem by Jack...Just some nonsense for Frieday
Luna Ticks and Clock Faced Stares Dredged along the waterfront Pilings lap the trace Sinking fast in deep despair Such a lonely place Tuna fish in angler’s garb Count these blessings slim Floating with a wrong way barge Forgetting how to swim Beams of iron ready mix Craters formed to crush Phases of a crescent slice Slow to beat the rush Smiling in the wilted sky Blinding to my eyes Wasting hours yet to breathe Tug boats in disguise Shoes the weight of twenty leagues Burdens to the deep Splashing joyful solitude No one wants to keep Treading on the surface dark Barracuda dreams Luna ticks and clock faced stares Tell me what it means © 2014 Jack...Author's Note
