~Silver Thread'd Divertimento~

~Silver Thread'd Divertimento~

A Poem by Jack...

~Silver Thread'd Divertimento ~

Watching a swaying Chinese lantern

in colors the shade of your smile

Paper laced dreams in curvature shapes…

suspended silver threads…

Ripples of koi pond whispers

slowly beckon in moonlit gestures,

as we sit counting fireflies,

hypnotized by our beating hearts

Cascades serenade,

enchanting the evening divertimento

Lotus blossom fingertips softly

caress parted lips…smooth

As I drink of your fragrance,

tasting the flavors, your moistened touch

simmering upon each breath…

warm, offering a honey’d embrace

Gazing longingly upon porcelain skin,

tempting star shine glow…

we melt as one, mouths entwined

drenched in serenity

while deep within our silence we speak,

not of voice…but of love

So rich in description and a lovely image, your imagination paints a picture of an enchanted evening. This is one of your best of this type, this is your speciality, you've have refined this type of poem so it is just right.
