What do you think?

What do you think?

A Poem by Jack...

What do you think?

What do you think when you look out the window

forgetting the snow that does cover the ground

do you see posies and butterflies floating

hearing the rush of a zephyr's sweet sound?

or

how can it be that the trees are all barren

where are the leaves that my eyes used to find

lost are the smiles that fade during dreaming

nightmares in green force their way in my mind?

or

sun softened beaches are waiting for summer

blue ocean scenes I will truly adore

hurry, I’m waiting, it’s taking forever

I need some warmth and a day at the shore?

or

chilled to the bone with the temperature dropping

why can’t you be here, I do miss you so

how could you leave when you knew that I loved you

tell me please tell me oh why did you go?

so

what do you think when you look out the window

staring a blank at the edge of the view

cupping your hands in a fit of frustration

why don’t you know that I’m always with you?

Thanks my friend.
This shook me right down to the core. It reminds me of the fact that I will soon have to part from my loved one for quite some time, due to circumstances that are out of our hands, and it just leaves me in tears. Your poetry always moves me so, Jack. And I must thank you for that.

Thank you so very much my good friend. I appreciate you always being so kind to me.
That was actually really good. Do you have any classical training in poetry (Your meter is literally perfect, and original) or does it come naturally?

That's really amazing then. I'll defiantly be reading more of your stuff.
I really like this; there's such great imagery throughout the whole poem. It's also wonderfully structured and makes the reader think. I especially love the ending line "Why don't you know that I'm always with you?"
I'm going to have to read more of your work when I have time.

Thanks so very much my friend. I asked someone this question and then the poem came.
Jack, all the possibilities are here - flowers and sun; barren branches and chill... As always, you bring a conclusion that longs for the fulfillment of the heart's desire, leaving the reader to sigh... Lovely.

I like how you get the reader involved :)
Really clever thinking Jack :)
And again great work portraying the picture :)
wow I noticed every paragraph has like its own personalities seeing what different types of people there are :) That's just playing smart ha-ha :)

I would say :
'how can it be that the trees are all barren

where are the leaves that my eyes used to find

lost are the smiles that fade during dreaming

nightmares in green force their way in my mind?'

For this has a bit of the past in it :) and I'm all about the past :)
Really fabulous work Jack I give you a 100 :D
Cause you deserved it!

Question, What do you think ?
Ps, Awesome conclusion :)
