Winter in MontroseA Poem by Jack...Thanks for the photo Sye.
Winter in Montrose White on gray this blustery realm of chilling torrent Horizon’s blur in distant lines disappearing beyond all hope Scattered stone on beaten shore waits patiently for the evening tides Foamed illusions contrast with rough predictions En mass the route curves, beckoning wayfarer decisions Crushed dreams heave in sculling curls to the depths of darkness Winds wreak havoc on unsuspecting bared skin Along the edge of this oceans tempest offerings Gun metal skies howl in violent wailing temptations Dunes break on fervent watered sanctions Casting off the crooked eye of pounded shorelines As Montrose feels the swell of winter’s blowing sands © 2014 Jack...Author's Note
