Twilight's Shimmer - A collaboration - Frieda and Jack

A Poem by Jack...
"

Once more I am honored to write a poem with Frieda. Who says dreams don't come true?

"

Twilight's Shimmer

Misty mornings long for silent shade

drenched in glistening opalescent

windswept sighs on feathered breezes

seek the essence of your fragrance

languish in moments sheer contentment

flowers scenting the nape of the neck

eyes soak in brilliant twilight's shimmer

amidst the ginger of your aromatic flavor

the sunrise blooms of your beauty

I gaze upon this tempting reflection

in limpid pools of dark sepia dreams

silently quenching my thirsty desires

delights of silken'd utterances bliss

kiss upon my heart's zesty appetite

hungering for the gusto of your affection

urges of  persuasive velvet'd silent echoes

savoring these moonlit moments

within delicate arms, anxious sighs

enraptured in this tender night's embrace

floating upon gossamer clouds of your love

Yeah cool. Im a virgin to combo poetry. And you rascals just popped my cherry. Nice work.
I like the male female back forth... creates an interesting tug, you know... its odd, because its two people where there usually is just one... I think it takes a certain amount of trust, in self, in other, to write this style of poetry... a great collaboration.

Thanks John, so glad you enjoyed our collaboration.
This is delightful...as beautiful as intoxication...you all must engage in more collaborations...it is a privilege for the others...I am really curious as to who wrote what...but nevertheless it flows in unity! Magnificent!

My pleasure Jack...I would be viewing your works soon...please visit mine!
I rather think that this combo displays the best of both of you, well written, researched and braces the reader without letting go of the narrative, well done, good read.

My favorite over the rainbow, he is missed, I agree.
Frieda, Jack.. wonderful... you know how most collaborations you can tell each voice, but in the ones you two do, while I might be able to tell which lines each oof you wrote, what really stands out is how they come across as one voice, exppressing the possibilities of love, of emotion, of the passion between two people... so the poems you two write are unique and artistic.. I am glad to be able to read them.. deliciously dreamy.. ~~redzone

You both know how to engage the senses as well as the heart with your romantic writes. Another wonderful collaboration - though the pic, for some reason, creeped me out...
