Posies’ Bloom

 

Yon charcoal skies, horizon’s shade

Warm the breeze on flowing hair

Skin of whispered poet’s phrase

Dreaming of a heart to share

~

Alone you stand in posies’ bloom

Blinded by the purest love

Fragrant as this rose appears

On the wings of windswept dove
