Thinking of you

 

Frozen in layers of lemon drop frosting

Running for love on the snow covered lawn

Interest in all that this morning does offer

Entering each as if only a song

                           ~

Dancing to dreams on the edge of tomorrow

Asking a question I hope will be true

Pausing a moment to glance your direction

Writing this poem while thinking of you

I love rhyme when it's done well and this is done so very well. Words dance off the page here, Jack, while "dancing to dreams on the edge of tomorrow" - wonderful lines.
