Love shall keep us warm

Love shall keep us warm

A Poem by Jack...
"

For all of my friends in the North East U.S.

"

Love shall keep us warm

Clouded scarves of winter skies

Woolen wings on tempered sighs

Nature wears her white disguise

Mounting on the field

T

Laced along the bitter cold

Futures that have been foretold

Endless phrases painted bold

And our lips are sealed

T

Frozen links of glistened feel

Piled deep as to conceal

Left alone in what is real

Bracing for the storm

T

Though inside a fire roars

With the one that I adore

Let it snow forever more

Love shall keep us warm

 T

A great message delivered through a beautiful poem

I love how you have structured this one.
Yes, it was cold here, and it is still cold. However, it is always better with one you love.
It is so nice to keep each other warm when you are in love with each other.
Thanks, Jack for sharing.

Jack, you write such beautiful, romantic poems that just make me never want to leave the world I enter into when I read you. It seems like a place where no one needs to worry, stress and everything is just happy, romantic and perfect. Like this write.

Amazing right?
This is very pretty and descriptive, giving a very clear sense of the winter roaring outside while the fire roars inside. I also like the rhyme scheme. :)

Thank you so very much sweet Rose for your kind words
This is beautiful. Your words and so warm and caring. I think you're more of a romantic guy who likes to sweep us ladies off our feet, huh? (-; Ha, only kidding but you are quite the romantic.

Thank you Gleb, happy you enjoyed this.
There is warmth in these very words. This piece reminds me of why I hold such an affinity for the Winter...it's the only season that brings out these feelings in us. Incredible command with regards to the form as well. Great work my friend.
