Will you be my friend again? (For Andrea)

Will you be my friend again? (For Andrea)

A Poem by Jack...
"

I unintentionally hurt a good friend of mine and I want her know how deeply sorry I am. Andrea, I am so very sorry.

"

Will you be my friend again?

Sometimes we don’t see

what the heart tries to tell us,

when clouds form atop of the view

Too busy staring

off into the shadows,

missing the visions so true

~

We’re blinded by day

and asleep in the nighttime,

dark is our every day long

And I couldn’t see

that my words were so hurtful,

I had no clue I was wrong

~

For I am a man,

nothing more, nothing special,

at least that I see in my eyes

So lost in a dream

of my own misdirection,

little did I realize

~

That I had a friend

on this journey I wandered,

walking with me all the way

Lending a hand

as I lifted this burden,

I hope it’s not too late to say

~

I am so sorry

for my wayward actions,

I never meant you this pain

Will you forgive me,

in spite of my downfalls,

will you be my friend again?

In this world, in this life, a friendship is like an extra skin. And, it's only when one or both of you lose that skin, you realise how cold it is, how much it's missed. Jack, this is a very sincere and well.written poem; it proves that you're far too good a friend to lose. And. if you don't mind me embarrassing you a little.. too good a human being. A very public 'sorry' proves my point. So there! :)

Peace and goodwill, friends - before it's too late.

Jack, sometimes it happens, we are only human love...be kind to yourself...the key word being "unintentionally" in your note...hope it works out hon x
