Pale, the lonely shoreline

Twisted branchless sighs

Long of places far away

At rest neath ashen skies

 

Prey of storms once passing

Felled of nature’s eye

Washed alone this sandy nook

Wave a sad goodbye

I resemble this, spent my long weekends on the Island, it wasn't lonely then, this is such a bittersweet wash along the shore, speaks to me of heartache and nature's fury, lovely Jack.
